Electric wheel on ice cream bike

Has anyone installed an electyric wheel on an ice cream trike??

What Wattage did you end up using?? Was it worth doing??

I have an ex-Nestle ice cream bike and it's quite heavy to push up inclines.....deffo much heavier than a Pashley!!

Why are you bothering with this cr4p....do as you've been advised. If you don't believe me then go back to what's called 'the primary legislation'...ie the pedlars act [circa 1820s??]....do a google...read it and you'll see there's no restrictions... The police can NOT specify anything on your pedlar's certificate. They can write whatever they want but it has no power in law. A lot of police forces do this as they try to stop the wide boys using certificates to do hotdogs outside nightclubs etc, or they've been fed a load of bullshit by the coun...

Total load of bollix. You don't NEED one to sell foodstuff...but they can't refuse to give you one. However rather than arguing....Simply go back and re-apply and this time say you will be selling novelties/balloons/toys from a basket on foot. Your pedlar's certificate doesn't actually say anything ...
