Pedlars, How cool to hold a certificate that proves by law you are a person of good character!
Worth getting one just for the hallibut! Oh no, that's a fishing certificate.

Hi, has anyone had experience of trading at events?. Is there any hostility from stall holders / organisers? There are a few events coming up I would like to trade at. My understanding is if they are held on the street I have every right to be there. Is that correct or can restrictions be put on for single day?. Events I have in mind are:

A local 1940's festival -
Christmas Market (will soon be upon us!)
Farmers Market (held in high street)
Bike show / VW Camper show again held in the street
Our local 10K road race - people turn up to watch the runners

Many thanks for reading

If its a free event on public land then you can trade, thats not to say the paying traders wont "moan" about how you trade, especially if you are taking money.

In my experience traders do moan and will moan, don't forget the pedlars code of practice, basically obey the law and they can't touch you.
