Re: Public or private ?

Hi Brad and welcome to the forum.
Sorry for the late reply, Places like arcades or shopping centres might be regarded as private by the managers though it still might be possible to trade there if you ask nicely.

Re: Using a Credit Card Machine opinions please?

I'm sure it'll work, you just say 'use your card sir? tap here please' they don't know.

Please check back with your stories and I just know you are going to do really well!

Re: Using a Credit Card Machine opinions please?

Another option is Paypal credit card payments here:
https://www.paypal.com/uk/webapps/mpp/c ... ard-reader
but I think they probably take too much at up to 3.4% of the transaction plus 20p although it may be lower for chip & pin.
Worth looking at though.

good luck with it

Ian.

The forum is being a bit slow at the moment

I've just upgraded it to the latest version and it would seem that it's using more than it's allocated memory on the server which might cause it to be sluggish for you.

Working on it, sorry for any inconvenience.

The Clocks sprung forward ~BOING~

When you're not logged in you'll see the correct time but when you log in your personal settings take over and if they are set to GMT or UTC then your clock will be 1 hour behind. This is because each user can set their own time zone. You'll need to click/tap on your name and choose User Control Pan...
